Dan brought the motor on my Deagan Aurora Vibes back to life.
The motor works like a champ. I am partial to the slow motor sound; pair that with the warmth of Deagan vibe bars, and I couldn't be happier.
If you need this service for your vibes, then do it. You will be beyond happy. He also found the rattle in the motor box; someone had inserted two pennies, mystery solved.
Also, not vibe-related, but the timpani tuning gauge indicator bolts are stellar. We replaced all the tuning indicator bolts on the Walter Lights at my former institution, and the world was a better place.

So far, so good. As you know it takes time to evaluate a product when it's being used by high school students! For me, it appears that they are well made and will be a great addition for our timpanists. I do wish there were an option for Bb, Ab, Eb on the top!

Timpani tuning letters are the best in the business. They are very easy to read from a distance and do not rub off like others.

The note indicators are perfect. Much better than the plastic ones that Ludwig installed on the newer instruments that have the"rail system". Ludwig's were plastic and did not last long. Dan's indicators are superior. Thank you Dan.

Fantastic piece of equipment

These Tuning Indicators worked very well for two sets of ludwig timpani as anticipated. Ludwig tuner indicators have a brass color. These tuner indicators have a silver color, FYI. One plus to these indicators vs. Ludwig is the four dots around the letter, giving a more precise point of the indicator by which to adjust the "arrow" of the timpani mechanism. 100% pleased.

Teflon Tape for Timpani Bearing Edges is the best tape I've ever had.
It applies quickly and easily, and the results are fantastic. No noise from the timpani head. I'm very happy with it.

These bushings are a great upgrade to the original washers as they provide a short collar to separate the tension rods from the counterhoop ears, therefore eliminating any potential metal on metal contact and unwanted extra sounds.

I like the better than spray teflon. Nothing to wipe off and no mess.
